Adding hyperlinks to your Google form is an easy way to reference any source or provide additional information. It’s only possible to add hyperlinks to the following:
- Title of the form
- The description under the title
- Questions
Add hyperlinks to the form title
- Click on the title. Then, click on the insert link icon.
Click on insert link. - Select the “Text to display” and paste the URL of the webpage you want to link to.
Add the title and paste the link in this section. - Click OK. The link will be inserted into the text – it will turn blue.
The blue color indicates that the link has been inserted.
Add hyperlinks to the form description
- Click on the description area of the form and add a description.
- Select the text to which you want to add a hyperlink and click on the insert link icon.
Select the text and click the link icon. - Copy the URL of the webpage and paste it under the “Link to” option. Then, click OK. Your text will turn blue when the link is added.
Paste the link and press OK.
Adding a hyperlink to questions
- Click on the question area of the form. Next, select the text to which you want to add a hyperlink.
- Below the question, click the insert link icon to add a hyperlink to the selected text.
Click the insert link icon to add a link to the selected text. - Copy the URL of the webpage you want to link to and paste it under “Link to.” Press OK, and your link will be added.
